We are a free museum! All donations are welcome.
We are open Monday to Thursday 10am – 4pm, and Sundays 11.30am – 4pm. We do not open on bank holidays.
Ordsall Hall has a pay and display car park of 48 spaces including 5 accessible bays (closes at 4.15pm). Its is then a 100m walk to the front door. Learn more via our Planning your Visit page.
Yes. Visitors with a valid Blue Badge can park free of charge for up to 3 hours in our car park.
We have 5 designated accessible parking bays, which are available for Blue Badge holders. However, if these bays are occupied, you can also park in any other car park bay with a valid Blue Badge for free.
Please ensure your Blue Badge is clearly displayed while parked.
The hall is located by a bus stop on the Piccadilly Gardens to the Trafford Centre route, and a 3 minute walks from the Exchange Quay tram stop. LINK TO VISITING INFO
We encourage visitors to come to us on bikes or scooters. These need to be left at our bike stand in the car park and can not be ridden in the grounds or hall.
We have baby changing stations available in some of the toilets – we also have a limited supply of nappies available if needed, please ask at reception.
We welcome breastfeeding throughout the building.
Unfortunately we do not have space for a buggy park at the hall but you are welcome to take your buggy around with you.
If you would like to visit when we are quieter this tends to be from 2.30pm – 4pm in term time.
