From Monday 29 March Ordsall Hall’s gardens will re-open to the public. Visitors will be able to stroll around, enjoy the gardens and take in some exercise with social distancing measures in place. The gardens will be open every:

  • Monday: 10am-4pm
  • Tuesday: 10am-4pm

There will be a takeaway café facility operating from The Radclyffe Room whilst the gardens are open to the public.

Unless very busy, visitors will not have to pre-book a visit to the gardens.

Easter Egg Hunt

29 March to 18 April 2021, various times
£2 per child

Join us this Easter Holidays for a visual Easter egg trail around Ordsall Hall’s Gardens.  Museum Curator, Rabinsky the Rabbit, has hidden his precious jewelled eggs in display cases around the gardens. But he now must find them ready to send them to a Spring Egg Exhibition in St Petersburg, Russia! Come and help Rabinsky spot the 10 jewelled eggs hidden in the gardens and solve the anagram accompanying each egg, to find out how he will transport this precious cargo to Russia!

Pre-booking is essential.

Our new bookable gardens trail will be available for visitors to explore the gardens with from Monday 29 March.

From Monday 17 May, Ordsall Hall will re-open to the public. Visitors will be able to come for tours of the Hall via pre-booked, timed slots as was the practice July- October 2020. Look out for more details when our booking is open.

Please remember, this is all an outline and any part of this roadmap may be subject to change due to Government restrictions changing.

We’re excited to be able to welcome you back soon. Please bear with as we finalise these plans and get ready for your return.
