Plan B Covid measures introduced in England

Following the Government announcement on 8th December that Plan B Covid measures were being introduced in England, Salford Museums & Galleries will be reintroducing and reinforcing certain measures to ensure the safety of our customers and our people as of 10th December.

Face masks

• In our museums, customers will be required to wear face coverings unless exempt from doing so.

Cleaning, ventilation and social distancing

• Hand sanitiser stations will continue to be available to use and we encourage that they are used regularly by customers.
• Staff will continue to clean down touch points regularly.
• We encourage customers to maintain personal space where possible and screens will be kept up at points of sale.
• Staff will continue to ventilate rooms regularly during the day.
