Fancy escaping the crowds of shoppers and revellers on the weekend before Christmas?

Here’s a unique opportunity to see the National Trust’s transformation of Castlefield Viaduct followed by a meander through Castlefield over rivers and canals making our way to the medieval splendour of Ordsall Hall.

If you’ve not been to either of these places then you are in for a treat. Castlefield Viaduct is Manchester’s latest tourist attractions and Ordsall Hall a beautiful jewel of a building with glorious history.

Festive cheese and wine will be served in the grand surroundings of the Grade I Listed Tudor Banqueting Hall at Ordsall Hall dating back to 1512. You will be served a choice of hot mulled wine or spiced apple juice with a cheese platter to share.

£15 per person, booking essential.

Please meet at 12.15pm at the entrance to Castlefield Viaduct (follow signs from the platform level of Deansgate/Castlefield Metrolink Station- lift available corner Deansgate/Whitworth St). The tour will reach Ordsall Hall around 2.45pm.

Warm clothing and suitable footwear advised.
