Salford is a proud rugby city and Salford Red Devils have been at the heart of the community for almost 150 years.
This year England was scheduled to host the Rugby League World Cup. This was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the club and share the story of Salford Red Devils. Sadly, the World Cup has been postponed to 2022, however, we are still able to host this exhibition presented by Salford Red Devils Foundation.
The exhibition charts the history of the club, highlighting many of the team’s international achievements. On display are images and memorabilia dating back to the early days of the club and in the Frederic Shields Gallery you can view Willows Memories, a film about the club’s home from 1901 to 2011.
This is a temporary exhibition on display from Sunday 10 October to Sunday 12 December 2021.
