The great Twelfth Night tradition of wassailing is alive and well in our Orchard at Ordsall Hall!

Every year around ‘Old Twelvey’, aka the 17th of January, we invite visitors to join us to toast the good health of our local fruit trees and help ensure a bountiful harvest in Autumn. This year’s celebrations will be taking place on Sunday 18th of January.

We will meet in the Orchard and visit nearby orchard trees, so there will be some walking outside the grounds. Do dress for the weather and wear shoes you don’t mind getting muddy! Refreshments will also be offered.

All ages welcome. This is a free, drop-in event. No booking required.

The museum has a private Pay & Display car park. All parking is paid for on arrival either online, over the phone or by using the onsite machine.
