Loan Boxes

We offer a selection of loan boxes which tie in with our school sessions at Ordsall Hall and our sister site Salford Museum & Art Gallery and are directly relevant to the collections we hold.

Each box can be borrowed for up to two weeks at a time and must be booked in advance.

The boxes we offer are:

• Victorian Children
• Victorian Home
• Toys through Times
• The Tudors
• We are also currently able to offer a World War One loan box

These boxes get booked up very quickly so we recommend booking at least a term in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please note that loan boxes are now collected from and returned to Salford Schools’ Library Service and not Salford Museum and Art Gallery. Directions and opening times will be sent out when a box is booked.  For queries regarding box collections and returns please call 0161 778 0936 (please do not call this number for bookings).
