Renewing your wedding vows is a celebration of ‘your’ marriage and is a ceremony that is unique and personal to you.

Weddings logoWhether you’ve been married 60 years or one year any married couple can renew their wedding vows regardless of the length of time.

Many couples like to associate this ceremony with a special anniversary such as a ruby or diamond celebration, but the ceremony is just as appropriate at any stage of marriage.  The style of ceremony is up to you and can include readings, exchanging rings, pieces of special music, personal vows and can be a nice way of including family members and friends in the proceedings.

The ceremony can also provide the perfect option to couples that have married abroad but are looking for a formal celebration at home.

A registrar will perform your ceremony but they have no legal standing and are not legally binding. Find out more about this aspect from Salford City Council.

“What a fantastic day we had renewing our vows at Ordsall Hall. The staff treated us like royalty and our guests were made to feel welcome from the moment they arrived, Lindsay and Zak.”
